Bringing Back The Music
For several years I have entertained at Seniors Homes across the G.T.A. and beyond. When Covid-19 arrived, things changed!! What to do when you can’t go inside to perform and provide a welcome break in the residents’ day.Â
I hope that my videos will supply our senior residents with some entertainment even if I can't be there in person.Â
The first show is a short set of some of the songs that are requested when I’m out playing. There’s plenty more to come!
BACK TO THE SIXTIES
With ‘’Back to the Sixties’’ we take a trip over the pond to explore the music that inspired a generation! From Britain’s first rocker, Cliff Richard, who hit the British Pop charts in 1958 with ‘’Move it’’ through to the glorious 60’s with Beatle-mania and all the singers and groups that followed. Familiar hits from artists like Tom Jones, The Searchers, Herman’s Hermits and many more.
I was on the Road working with many of the British stars, so there are many stories to tell.

BUDDY AND THE BEATLES
Buddy and the Beatles. Sound a bit weird?
Buddy Holly’s band was "The Crickets", and the Beatles thought naming a band after an insect was pretty cool! After playing around with various other insects they came up with “beetles“ (They became Beatles later.) John Lennon recalled, “When you said it, people thought of crawly things; and when you read it, it was beat music“ The Beatles aspired to sing and play, like Buddy and the Crickets, who sang and played instruments on stage, which was not popular at time. Trust the Beatles to be difficult!!
