Meet  Steve

Born in Canada, his musical history takes him back to England where he was raised, and where he was a founding member of The Lorne Gibson Trio.  The Trio enjoyed considerable success during the "Beatle Era", having the opportunity to perform on concert stages with The Beatles and many of the other British Bands at the peak of  “Beatle-mania.” The Trio also appeared as the first guests on the Beatle's B.B.C Radio Show, "Pop go The Beatles", helping the "Fab Four" in the recording of the Shows Theme music.
The B.B.C. (British Broadcasting Corporation!) sessions were also responsible for Steve's other consuming passion, sound engineering. His fascination with the recording process led to a career (after the Trio) of over twenty years as a recording engineer and producer and is why he now has a fully equipped Digital recording studio, where he produces the music tracks he uses.
His attitude towards the music he plays is simple: “I believe that the audience wants to hear their favourite songs the way they sounded when they first heard them, so I try to keep as close to the original arrangements and instrumentation as possible. There may be more modern guitar or drum sounds but I always endeavour to keep the essence of the song.
